Back to my early childhood, I remember being totally enthusiastic watching all the stars walking the red carpet in their magnificent gown and looking super elegant by doing it.
But let’s start at the beginning: it never crossed my mind, that one day I will be walking next to them. Actually, the only thought, that last week I was able to attend the Film Festivals in Cannes with the official beauty partner L’Oréal Paris still feels so unrealistic and crazy. I remember the moment, when last year, about this time, I was looking through the pictures of Chiara Ferragni and Kristina Bazan, one of the biggest and most inspiring bloggers in the industry, and was kind of admiring them for the this experience.
Only one year later, I found myself right in the middle of this very special event, walking the red carpet too and experience this unique atmosphere live. My very first thought, after getting out of the car and seeing all the stars on the red carpet at the Palais des Festival et des Congrès von Cannes, where, by the way, the film festivals take place since 1946, was a quote Walt Disney once said “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” and damn, that’s so so true! One of my biggest dreams came true and I’m so grateful for all these opportunities and adventures. And most of all, that I’m able to share them with you guys just like being the living proof, that everything is possible if you have the passion and the courage to fight and believe.
But enough talking! Let’s look through my Cannes Diary and all the happenings. :)
LET’S GET READY
I was literally in a lipstick paradise at the L’Oréal Paris Suit!!! Can I have all these shades, PLEASE?
RED CARPET MAKE-UP LOOK
As I told you in a post before leaving for Cannes, I wanted to keep my whole make-up simple and keep the focus on my dark berry colored lips. I just loved this lipstick shade, called Violet Saturne Color Riche (NR. 214) by L’Oréal Paris. It was the perfect match to my tanned skin and white dress. Wasn’t it? My foundation was also a very light one. My personal Make-Up Artist used the L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Eau de Teint and the Glam Bronze La Terra for a little bit contouring and as as a finish.
GLAMOROUS WAVES
First I was a little bit unsure what to do with my hair. Should I tie them up, straighten them or make some glamorous waves? As you can see, I decided to go for option Nr. 3 because it seemed like it suits my fine jewels by Anna Inspiring Jewelry and make-up look best.
IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL
The MARTINEZ Hotel was not only my residence during my stay in Cannes, but also the one of several well known celebrities just like Eva Longoria, Doutzen Kroes and Jane Fonda.
In front of the hotel hundreds of people were waiting all day long, in the hope, to see one of them entering or leaving the hotel.
MEET THE SPOKESPERSONS
L’Oréal Paris has chosen glamorous stars that inspire women around the world with their uniqueness as their spokespersons.
During the film festivals all of them, including Jane Fonda and Sonam Kapoor, came together in Cannes.
What an honour meeting all these inspiring women in real life!
MY RED CARPET MOMENT
Our next stop was the red carpet and the premiere of „The see of Trees“ with Matthew McConaughey and Naomi Watts in leading role.
And guess what, they were also in the theater watching their movie with us. Crazy!!! :)
