How to layer necklaces like a pro

DSC_1440

Some ladies prefer it more simple and delicate, others are more into bold and statement accessories to underline their outfit.

Although I like both, currently I’m totally into bold layered necklaces with whom you can easily define your style and set a statement to your everyday outfit. Even if it’s an easy and very simple, single-colored one.

But to be honest, sometime it’s a huge challenge to find some necklaces which suit to each other. Isn’t it? Either those colors don’t fit together or their style don’t match each other. In the end it just looks like a real mess.

For those who want to go for this trend too – I have good news :-) I’ve put a guide together in which I’m explaining how to layer necklaces like a pro! YEAH :D Read on:

  1. Combine a tight bold statement necklace with a minimalistic top. The first layer is the most important one as it’s like the leader from the following layers. Therefore: the bigger and bolder, the better. Ideally you go for a necklace which looks similar like this > silver colored wide chained necklace. But if you feel uncomfortable with this tightness, don’t worry. You can also go for one, which you can close at the height of your collar bone  just like this > necklace with spikes. By the way – I would DIE for this > white collier with flowers. This uniqueness absolutely blew me away.
  2. Based on the first statement necklace, you chose the next layer which should also be bold. Please choose one with an adjustable length as your second necklace needs to be longer than the first one. Furthermore you need to set a length, so that there is no big space between the first and second accessory what means, ideally your first statement necklace is following one after the other. This > large collier with hanging chains would fit perfectly. If you prefer it more colorful, this one > decorated with pearls and other frills would also look fabulous.
  3. The third layer should be the most minimalistic and long one as it’s just like the cherry on the cake. As you can see on my outfit, it looks super cute if there’s also a pendant on your necklace just like this > silver one with a small coin on it.
