KENSINGTON TRENCHCOAT – BEIGE CLASSIC & LOOK A LIKES
What is timeless, flatters any woman, is the ultimate basic and on top of all, looks divine combined with almost everything?
A small hint: first of all I associate this legendary item with Burberry. And no, I’m not talking about the characteristic plaid pattern of the label, but about the classic beige Kensington trenchcoat.
I would lie if I say that such a timeless Burberry trench has not been on my must-have list half an eternity. But there is this one thing, which prevents me on getting myself one yet. More precisely, it will take a while until I make friends with the price. Although I must add that i certainly understand its high value. Did you know for example, that the Kensington trenchcoat from Burberry is going through almost 300 separate processes during its production, gets inspected 26 times and expert tailors are still responsible for the masterful tailors? Very fascinating and unique!
BURBERRY KENSINGTON TRENCHCOAT LOOK ALIKE
And until the original Burberry Kensington Trenchcoat moves into my wardrobe, a look alike, which is at least as timeless, flattering and versatile has to serve such like > THIS one from the Mango Spring Collection 2016 which recently ended up in my basket while I was browsing trough the online shop. And of course I needed to showcase it in todays outfit blogpost. Totally fell in love with its design and already know that I’m going to wear it a looooot this spring. Either on trips, parties, while strolling around the city or simply in everyday errands outdoor. 😛
Even on cool summer days such a trench can look impressive on sun kissed skin and open footwear.
But this time I chose to wear an outfit combination which is ideal for the currently very mild weather situation in Vienna. Overall, I went for a very neutral color combination with a white sweater, a 7/8 jeans with open seams (LOVE!!!), sued ankle boots and my Furla Metropolis bag which wonderfully matches my lovely beige trenchcoat.
